Ideally situated beside the sea, on the Belgian border and less than an hour from the Lille urban area, the Clos Fleuri light sailing base is a recent, well equipped water sports facility.
From catamarans to kite surfing, from sand yachting to the very recent "longe-cote" (paddle sea walking), several water sports activities are offered which are accessible to everybody, beginners and more experienced practitioners, of all ages !
This is an ideal starting point to cast off your moorings for an hour, an afternoon or a full day... and more if your interest blossoms !

Leaving from the Clos Fleuri water sports base, you can practise catamarans and dinghy sailing, windsurfing, sea kayaking, sand yachting... This facility houses the Ecole de Voile Légère des Dunes de Flandre (S.I.D.F.) sailing school which offers water sports Leisure and Tourism activities to the public during the high season from April to October. These include rentals, courses and sessions, private lessons...from 6 years and upwards and for all practice levels. During the school year, water sports discovery initiatives are organised with primary, middle and high schools in Dunes de Flandre. Our teams will also be happy to consider any requests from company committees or any other groups.

In July - August: from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 7pm and at weekends from 10am to 7pm

The BASE NAUTIQUE DU CLOS FLEURI is a facility created by the Syndicat Intercommunal des Dunes de Flandre (S.I.D.F.) with the support of the European Union (EU) through funding under the ERDF programme. It was inaugurated in September 2001. It also has a Beach Point: water sports rental and private Sailing and Sand Yachting lessons.
